Whistler Centre

Before there was a ski hill or even a thought of hosting The Olympic Games, there was a popular fishing resort on Alta Lake called Rainbow Lodge. It was long considered the biggest Canadian tourist attraction west of Banff. In fact, some of the original cabins are still standing at Rainbow Park, on the west side of the Alta Lake. Whistler Centre is home to many family friendly subdivisions. The area features a wide variety of properties ranging in price and style from modest single-family homes to exquisite luxury chalets. The lake actually makes up a large part of Whistler Centre. The Alta Vista neighbourhood is located on the east side of the lake, just beside Wayside Park. This area also features the Arnold Palmer-designed Whistler Golf Course, as well as a variety of amenities.
